If anyone likes sad movies they don't get much sadder than this one.

I agree with The Pianist and It's a Wonderful Life. To add some more...
Into the Void.
Like Crazy.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
Amy.
The Green Mile and Moon
"Haven't used IMDB since 19th Feb 2017"
Bicycle Thieves
Umberto D
"When the wind blows" (1986). Its old western animation dealing with an old couple who dont quite get what nuclear war is. I know its hard to find but you will be hard pressed to find one sadder than this.
Fuck IMDB for removing the bords

Watership Down (Bright Eyes) and Dead Poet's Society (Oh Captain My Captain) always bring me to tears.
The Boy In The Striped Pajamas also was heartbreaking.
Not a film but I only have to think about the last 6 minutes of Six Feet Under and I am away...
