There is nothing sad about Beauty and the Beast and Frozen. They both end as happy as it can get. 12 years A Slave ends as good as possible, The Fox and the Hound, Up and TS3 have sad moments, but they end on a positive note. At worst bittersweet. Haven't seen the rest, but i'm skeptical as to whether or not they are that sad based on your other examples.
