TV Movie or Episode Man has Plastic Surgery Becomes Handsome
I saw this back in the 70s or 80s. A man in his late 20s or early 30s, possibly has some sort of mild mental handicap. He also has a large nose and an oversized ear on one side making him unappealing to women. His mother saves up for years and pays for him to have plastic surgery. This transforms him into a handsome fellow. He tries dating now, but has trouble because he isn't emotionally sophisticated enough to really deal well with women.
The actor was a white male with dark hair. Sort of Italian/Greek features IIRC. Resembles Tony Musante, but it doesn't seem to be him.
