John Salley, who played Fletcher was 6’11” tall to add to the “giant” part. And the previous comment nailed the “coke bottle” thing. In the very first bad boys movie I believe they did have a line about his glasses being thick and I can’t recall for sure if “coke bottle” was referenced or not, but the “coke bottle giant” would be very obvious to Marcus and Mike based on the history with Fletcher
