Spot On. Thank you. Someone is paying attention.
Well, Heather Graham did whip out her tit.
Like just about all Alexander Payne movies, it's about a guy who's generally lost finally finding his humanity through the course of the movie. Think about it. Sideways, About Schmidt, Nebraska, The Descendants, The Holdovers. A guy who's kind of lost finally finding meaning in his life. I think Payne does a great job doing this, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.
It's a beautiful kindness that you do every day (or at least used to do if you are retired). God Bless you.
Is this question a joke? Fitzgerald knew that all humans have to eventually blink to wet their eyes, so asking Glass to blink to confirm was just a way for Fitzgerald to get his way if he kept waiting and asking long enough. Obviously, Glass knew this, so because he needed to blink eventually (after staring back at Fitzgerald for a long time to express his disgust), he finally closed his eyes for an extended period of time, which is not blinking; it's closing his eyes. If Fitzgerald meant this 'deal' in any kind of sincere way, he would have asked Glass to blink twice, or three times, obviously.
