There are two versions of the film. She's in the original theatrical version; it's on YouTube with a 1:31:23 runtime. You see her first at 21:35 in the scene where Alex first goes to the psychiatrist(India's IRL mom). The more common version with the 1:24 runtime cut is listed as a "Director's Cut" and doesn't have her.
Yes I know this is a 15 year old post but this page popped up when I searched for the same question. Hoping to save someone else the annoyance of not knowing.
