The Mule was good. Sully and American Sniper were good, the only two that I don't really like are 15:17 to Paris and Cry Macho. I don't believe he did anything bad prior to 15:17 Those two particularly Cry Macho never sounded like good projects for him but Juror #2 is different, I think this one his perfect for him and so far the cast is great, Clint Eastwood also won't have a main role which he should not have had in Cry Macho. A supporting role is good, Cry Macho was ridiculous because of Eastwood's age, he needs to know his place now and the role should be realistic otherwise it's better if he is not in it, The Mule was good because that was fitting for his age and was actually a real story of someone that did the same thing at his age at the time.
In 2010 Clint said he was inspired by Manoel de Oliveira and wanted to be the worlds oldest filmaker, Manoel de Oliveira lived to 106 and made his last project at that age as well. It's been 13 years since Clint has said that and alot can change in that time.
I do not believe any movie was ever marketed as his last movie before, it also seems like this is directly from the studio, after Zaslav took over he was very unhappy that Cry Macho was ever greenlit and how well it performed, They probably gave him one ore movie on the condition it be his last movie, atleast with them, and he may not even want to make another with another studio so it seems quite unlikely considering also he'll probably be 94 atleast before he can start on another movie so time is certainly not in his favor for another movie, if he even wants to make another.
