I just finished watching the movie and I have NO IDEA what I just watched!!! I came back here to see if anybody knows what this was all about??? Good points liscarkat! I'm also a B&W film buff, and prefer them bcuz society has deteriorated harshly since the late 1960s! @ russogerard...Far out man!!! :P Come here and smell my finger! :P So, Strawdawg, U have masochistic tendencies? L0L Yup, The Fugitive was based on the Sam Shepard FRAME-UP in Bay Village, OH. (Cleveland area). A WEIRDO named Eberling confessed to killing the wife. The window washer. LMBO! I thought that was hilarious too! If convicts were really smart, they would NOT have gotten caught! KutWrite, yup, we seem to gravitate to those special times when we were tweens, bcuz that age is so impressionable in our lifespans. I'm a hockey player and someone recently said on an NHL forum online that "our FAV era of hockey is the time when we are about 12 years old!" I was 12 yrs old in 1965 and I have 3 team photos of my FAV team on my wall, dated 1965, 1966, and 1967. Many Cabbies in big cities are noted to be 'connected' (illegal) and know 'where the action is'. They gather large 'tips' for 'steering' their fares in the right direction. (prostitutes, drugs,"parties",etc.) I also found the whittling 'ODD'! Especially if Carl is committing a crime on the train with a...KNIFE! I thought whittling was an OUTDOORS hobby? OVER-react much??? L0L 2 wrongs don't = a right. I agree with you, bc I LIVED thru the 70s. I'm the same age as Kay Lenz, and her character. I remember the 'free love' baloney of the late-60s-early 70s! Everyone giving the 'peace sign' etc! I never got any of that 'free love' either! They always charged me! L0L Having researched MK Ultra a long time, I discovered the whole 60s 'peace' thang was a HUGE PSY-OP by the CIA! BTW...I LIVE 'peace' by being a 37 year VEGAN. This film like most, sends the WRONG messages to the masses. REAL freedom, and happiness comes from self-discipline, by NOT having pre-marital sex, NOT drinking, smoking, or doing drugs! Would Breezy be able to hold Frank without the sex factor? Probably not. Otherwise, I thought she was a very giving, caring, and thoughtful young woman. The way Frank treated her after she cooked him a nice supper was disgraceful, but her being co-dependent, she accepted that abuse, instead of telling him off! My POINT is, once we start obeying a few simple, and practical commandments, our lives become more functional, and meaningful, and less chaotic. I know this message will go over like a LEAD balloon in todays satanic society. It IS better to give than receive... kEy Lenz from Key Largo jou mean? L0L Yes vicky, WH was a very handsome and fit young man, but he started smoking as a teen, and drank so much he had to swim home most nights! He reminds me a lot of my dad, who was a heavy drinker, and Irish descent also! I quit the sauce about 8 years ago, and I am a 37 year vegan, so at 70 yrs old I am in great shape, even tho I drank about 40 years. I'm just reading "The Golden Boy" ebook now, and I am researching Bill a lot too! He was a harsh alcoholic, and I can go deeper bc I have researched MK Ultra since 1996. (27 years). Bill is what's called a 'sleeper'. Most 'fans' cannot get this at all. Yes, and thanx for the mammaries Kay! L0L @ blubird, I've read Dave McGowan's book about Laurel Canyon, and researched MK Ultra mind control since 1996. Now I know why I HATED the subversive late 60s-70s fashions and 'music'. I was Kay's exact age going thru that era. @ hodie, Ha! Ha! I love yer "quote"!!! To answer, no, but I LOVE gladiator movies!!! :P Kay does resemble Susan Dey. Both are very cute with wide mouths. Another connection, IIRC, Kay was married to David Cassidy of the "Partridge Family". BTW....This is my THIRD viewing of Breezy today! I have been researching William Holden for a few days.
