I only recently learned that the opening to Creedence Clearwater Revival's hit "Proud Mary" was inspired by the opening to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Now I can't listen to the song without thinking about Beethoven's Fifth.
I'm hoping that's what it is. I just signed up here, though, just in case.
