YES! It struck me as odd but a pleasantly surprising twist! At the time I was a little worried it was just an accident in the writing but it seemed so obvious I really thought it was going somewhere. I mean, who says someone smell's good randomly if they don't have a thing for them? My hopes were completely dashed. I want to read the short story now as I'm wondering if that might shed some light on that scene and show there was something going on between them?
