Lol I know. It’s stupid.
This is an old post but I had to respond. Call the person dense? You’re in the wrong on this topic. She did not intend to kill herself. She was tearful because she was scared, terrified probably, knowing the risk. After she does it, she looks out the window and smiles a tiny bit but then her expression changes to fear as she feels the blood drip. Then she calls an ambulance.
How have I never discovered the Alter channel? Short horror films? Yes! Thank you very much for making your post and yes, the Piggy short is on it. I think another commenter posted the link.
Oh lovely. I don’t want wokeisms in the movies I watch. I hear it too much in real life.
Omg thank you!!! And I laughed when I read you took notes! I wanted to do that too so many times with certain movies. I really need to do it with Oceans 8 one day …unless you covered that one, too haha!
Your points are fantastic and accurate!
I came here to post generally the same stuff but you saved me the time. Ironically, I enjoy watching this movie. So what does that say about me?
Thanks again for your well worded and thought out post!
Edited to add: this is an eight year old post?! I hate that I just discovered this site today.
Yes that was the way I saw it, too. “The rabbit died” expression. She probably got the idea while watching them through the window with the rabbit. I also think if she had killed the dog it would have put off audiences. No one likes when the dog dies. And I think her character was sufficiently hated by that point in the film. They didn’t need to have her do something as drastic and awful and killing that cute dog.
