The viewer is supposed to believe that the smile is because Juan spilled towels on purpose as Fede was leaving to keep him there. Then he could be called back to hear the truth about Marcos swindling Valeria and Fede. But she was laughing - if you're talking about the scene when she said the two were not real men. Made total sense because the laughter in the film is always derisive in nature. Not to me. Found it a passable movie, decently fun but nothing great. Many movies in the mindless fun genre that manage to be more coherent, funny, and less reliant on the main guy (who here would be WEIRD?) surviving because the antagonists shoot like Stormtroopers on tranquilisers. Found the poster pretty misleading but in a good way. Thought going into it that the romantic elements would be just as if not more important than the mystery, but they handled that (sub?)plot really maturely. Had me invested in all storylines, and I love the movie maybe more because I expected less owing to that poster. The bar, the zoo, and the dream sequences were great and they were all well in the first half. Really expected the movie to run with the momentum and not just peak there
