Hi Vlad - this message in case you still monitor the webpage. Thank you for the timeline which is fantastic. I think the one thing you are missing in your analysis is that many scenes are not one view of what happens in a single reality - they are intercut montages from different realities. They show segments of the same events and conversations but with subtle differences in how they proceed. You spot many of the clues but ascribe them in your timeline to continuity errors. For example, the coat rack by the front door. In the early dinner party scenes, Emily's reality has sunglasses and car keys on the right hook but you also see segments of the same scene in different realities (e.g. keys on middle hook, nothing on shelf above). Laurie appears to make two social faux pas in turn - first with Mike ("What do you do" - Roswell, embarrasses host) then exactly the same with Emily ("what do you do" - ballet, embarrasses Emily). In fact she makes one social faux pas but in two different realities with two different people. There are brief establishing shots of the (different) coat hook behind Laurie for each segment. Likewise the loaf in the first kitchen scene (cut, then whole) with Mike's shirt changing colour, buttons etc. Part of the problem is that the short/long black cuts imply they are signalling all the reality shifts - they aren't. Anyway - thanks again - it's a fantastic piece of work.
