I too had this experience recently. although I am more likely to blame a failing projection system or a failing projectionists at my Cine Plex Pod Palace then a top-notch team of Hollywood professionals with a blockbuster budget, top cast and a top responsibility to their shareholders. If anything I can imagine these are the folks who would very much like their names to be seen whenever possible and in any/all credits.
