I suppose it's the narrative that mainly resonated with those in the academy and other awards panels. I personally loved Parasite but I also had little preference as to which films should have won the awards that Parasite was nominated for. Different strokes I guess Completely agree. Fair enough if she's not someone's type but there's no point been nasty about anyone's appearance (or about anyone at all to be honest) I agree I just saw this film at the cinema and it was incredible unfortunately there were only 7 people in the auditorium including me. The overall reaction was pretty subdued so I definitely missed out on the joy of experiencing it first hand with a fully engaged audience. Still what a brilliant piece of cinema It was definitely the film of the year for me too. Thank you I definitely will. I'm new here and this is my first comment. I completely understand why you feel the way you do about the film, in a way it is a film that doesn't have a real point if you will. I personally appreciate the months in a life perspective it provides. I was born in the 90's so while it may not be as effective for me as it is people who were born and/or raised in the 60's I can accept that it is a nostalgia trip. Hope this sounded ok I'm new to this and would love to hear more of what you have to say. View all replies >
