Please don't listen to him. With a glue trap you'll be confronted with a distressed and suffering animal, which you'll have to finish the job itself. They can also potentially escape if the glue isn't sticky enough. Last time I saw a glue trap in use was some years ago at an office; the animal's face was partially ripped off from struggling all night and it was still alive, its hind legs were broken. Needless to say, they weren't used again after that.
This is awful advice. Glue traps?
They're inhumane torture devices, should be banned. The animal gets stuck, self-mutilates trying to get off; ripping its skin and face off, gnawing at limbs to escape. It's animal cruelty, nothing more.
Use a proper trap that kills them quickly if you have to kill them. Being scared of a mouse is no excuse to give it a prolonged and extremely painful death like that.
