I agree totally with this. You can tell it is not George Martin's writing for sure. It's like a big douche fest with everyone hugging each other good by and simply verifying where's they've been and what they've done in the story. It's soooooooo incredibly bad. Making Arya save the world from the night king and become the hero of Winterfell was the only good thing about this part of the story so far.
Things that really disappointed me in the last two seasons:
Yara's rescue. This was the weakest, most waisted potential to a character in the show. She is a lesbian who is taken prisoner by her psycho and perverted uncle. And nothing happens to her and she is saved without a fight or a struggle.....and then set a sail back to the iron islands. Very very weak.
The remaining Stark's acceptance of Theon besides Sansa, since he did risk captivity and more toture to help her get away from Ramsey.
The friggin douche-fest between characters and the extremely coincidental circumstances in which they all end up at Winterfell. I could go on and on.. I wont however.
