It is a comedy, their comedy which they can put whomever they want in the show, who cares?

I use pop loosely though, some of it is just over-hyped garbage.

It's a case of nature vs nurture though here, had they not swapped who is to say the events in the movie would be any different except that fact?

It's pretty obvious they were wondering why not just Jess suffered the same fate over and over if it's her punishment.
