I think he could be a great candidate to play Lestat in the film/television version of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles books. Lestat was originally played by Tom Cruise. It first hit me during the 2nd season when he was hitting on Mrs. Wheeler. He can go from menacing to charming quite easily and effectively. He seems to have the range that such a in depth and well written character like Lestat is in the books.
Totally agree!!! I don't know if I got used to her or her lines lightened up a little as the season progressed but she was a shade more tolerable in the last half. Good actress just one dimensional script for this character. And they laid it on thick!.
Yes I agree. Maybe some new CG technology was improved or 3D tech that will be incorporated into the film. On the first film back in 2009 I think it was either 24 hours or 48 hours to render a single frame of the film because there was so much information. More than 10 years later and I can't wait to hear what the stats are for this regarding render time.
I understand your point. I do think the few blonde hairs that wisp out of the box near the slightly bloody edge is a much more chilling effect than seeing the whole head. I listened to the commentary years ago and if I recall correctly her severed head was never shown on purpose as a tool to increase the freakiness not because of a lack of budget or special effect abilities.
Agreed. Other than a several main characters dying/leaving the plot did nothing in 16 episodes that should have only taken around 4. Seemed like they really stretched out and padded each episode to the point of great boredom. Sometimes padding can be excellent and interesting if it is done well or helps us learn more about the minor characters or some funny little detail about a main character. But...pretty disappointing.
Yeah I thought it was a bit forced just to create tension in the plot.
The first that came to mind immediately...
