I do too.
What I said was obviously not about the fact that she's a topic of conversation. Don't be disingenuous, people are not that stupid.
It was about how they always say the same things about her: how much they hate her, how young she looks and how much they think she's annoying in any way they can think of (eg.: she's a grumpy looking young woman). Oh and let's not forget the classic: "she doesn't deserve the spotlight!!!!11"
She'll be famous for a long while. You guys are wasting your energy with these threads.
Come on dude you don't have to explain these kind of jokes 😄😄
You ruined the joke.
Sorry I have to ask this in a blunt fashion, but... Do you happen to be a black male?
Good for you that you consider Lynch's voiceovers as the right choice for this. My partner couldn't stand them and I personally think that they're goofy and a bit unintentionally funny. But I insist, to each their own.
Wow, I definitely love movies but sometimes this website is weird af.
I'll never get why certain people here hate Zendaya and similar actresses this much. She's just one of these young, in vogue, actresses. I'm sure she'll stop being trendy at some point but meanwhile you'll see her in big blockbusters and there's not much you can do about it.
So guys, do yourselves a favor and just get over it. If you really love movies that much, I'm sure your passion for them will outlive her stardom.
Bro, I'll explain it to you:
He called you a pedophile 😨
Well it seems that you really suspended disbelief here. Good for you.
I kinda liked the two movies but I felt these things were not really explained in detail. I wish they were.
Hahah!! Is this for real? This guy just blocked me because I pointed out there's no way he hasn't pirated movies before?
If you think about it, due to the things he has commented in here, he seems twice as old as me, that means he has had at least 10-15 additional years or more to commit piracy of some sort when compared to myself .
What an hypocrite 🤣
I don't know man, I'm not that young anymore and I find this version objectively goofy. I tried to like it but in some parts it just looks so dated.
Eg. The personal shield looks like the guy transformed into a Roblox Avatar 🤦🏻♂️
Also, what's with the pug dog? It looks off in two scenes I can remember from the top of my head... We don't need the cute factor there 🤦🏻♂️
Haha, what? You immediately resorted to insults? What are a joke.
Admit it, you pirate movies just like everyone else, you just think people would believe your absurd claim. If you are this invested in movies, then you have pirated movies in more than one way before.
Haha, saying publicly that "you don't do that" is so damn pretentious. Who do you think you are?
You're just one more random internet user. I'm sure you have pirated several times in your life if you come here to talk about movies.
"Protecting" a former criminal is frowned upon. Plus. bosses are not that respectful to begin with.
That was hilarious. It was an really butthurt comment indeed. LOL!
Fair enough.
Sorry for the late reply but I saw this again today and I remembered some YouTuber commenting that Disney steals because they always took stories from others since the early days. They aren't really known for using original stories.
Don't forget all the subtle gestures and sounds the people in this film make. The sound design is very convincing.
It's a masterpiece of persuasion and uncomfortableness.
The way that family was indifferent to that man was the real tragedy here.
I think their declarations in the film had signs of being coached. There are little gestures they repeat a lot ( and I'm talking of more than one person doing the same gesture).
Then there's this strange variation in the timber of their voice during specific sentences, especially those that were practically plot points. It seemed very weird to me.
I watched this with a very good pair of headphones, by the way.
I suspect they at least took lessons of some sort to prepare in advance for this. Even the way they speak seems very consistent among all the people involved in it, all those uncommonly used words and similar quirks during their discourse. Even Sean, Robson's older brother who has an accent and happens to curse a bit, speaks similarly to everyone else, including members of the other family. Some of them only use one curse word, in very specific instances, for emphasis.
I couldn't help but notice all this happening throughout the two-part film.
There is also the appeal to the ambitious middle class family in it. All those shots about the places they lived in and their lifestyle before and after meeting Michael and the material stuff they enjoyed even before it, such as the technology. It is clear this was made to appeal to the HBO viewers and make them feel relatable to their demographic.
Well, this actually shouldn't seem strage at all. For all we know, a lot of money went into making this film and it'll be used to fuel the multi-million dollar lawsuit that Wade Robson made against Michael Jackson's Estate.
The only character in this that doesn't work is Amanda Rodriguez/Robson. Her exaggerated valley girl accent is so disruptive. She was already 37 years old at the time, I just don't understand.
On the other hand, the two moms serve their purpose well. Wade's mom represents the betrayed fan who couldn't believe the level of abuse and betrayal Michael Jackson allegedly committed. Safechuck's mom represents the typical enraged parent that will do anything to "kill all pedophiles". Just like the ones that tortured to death those people that were accused via hearsay in the U.S. in one occasion.
A very thoroughly produced piece of media, and one I'd be wary of if I you are a formally educated critical thinker as myself.
