The book was very long as well; maybe that's part of the reason. The way the story was told was necessary to make both the book and the movie long.

I just hope it comes out in enough theaters so I can see in on the big screen, along with the audience. The small screen just doesn't cut it for movies like this.

Way too high a grade. It was boring. Too much time spent watching an old curmudgeon going nowhere. Way below Eastwood's standards.
