I agree it's the best movie I've seen in years, but I don't think it will win best picture. It doesn't fit the bill for the type of movie they look for.
However I think it has a realistic shot (and should win) best cinematography and best production design, but Dunkirk will be tough competition in both categories, and rightfully so. It will get nomimated for Best visual effects but I doubt it will win, some shlock will take that trophy.
My imdb account says "member since 2004" and I honestly didn't know the message board existed before I read elsewhere that they had been deleted. Funnily enough talking about the former imdb forums is also how I found this site today.
