I also give it a 6/10, and 100% agree with you.
Way too risky to let someone have that leverage over you.
Was the only thing I disliked about the film (aside from terrible pacing).
Mel is our protagonist. At least have them both die in the white car at the end, better message. His character was too smart not to shoot the remaining robber in the head the first chance he got.
I think it's very interesting that the end of the film is exactly the same as the start. Implying Spader had just lost to the two rich guys, or cheated them and wanted a second bite at the apple.
Also when you fall you get bruises on your limbs which she didn't have, plus the neck strangulation evidence.
He is an amazing liar. Those poor kids didn't stand a chance.
Yes the documentary was biased, it's clear he did it. The blood, plus 7 gashes from her head, plus injuries to her thyroid (strangulation). It's a pity Deaver purjered himself. Peterson's life was lies, from his military 'injury' to his cheating with gay men.
She found out he was gay, they fought, he escalated to violence and murdered her.
Agree, it fell apart at the end. Would have made a better ending for the Indian girl to escape.
Oops sorry, fixed.
