Hi, just came back to say the last episode was GREAT. I was getting myself ready to be dissapointed but I really enjoyed it. Big fan of the Nightsisters and all that so I really liked the pay-off there, undead stormtroopers were cool and the fights were awesome. Still feel the same about that shoot-out, it could have been handled so much better, but I'm definately on board for things moving forward. I'll still be watching. Hope you enjoy it. ANY story needs internal logic and integrity or it's just a series of random events that nobody cares about. We'll see. It's exceeded my expectations so far, fingers crossed. I like it. They've given the story some gravitas and are dealing with the material in a more adult manner. I welcome the change of tone that's giving the series its own identity and even though it is slow in parts at least they've shown they're willing to try a more thoughtful approach which bodes well for future series to explore the star wars concept in more depth. Nice to see the empire (and the stormtroopers) not treated as some kind of ineffectual joke this time (which has really damaged star wars since Return Of The Jedi). Hopefully not in this case. I agree with the OP, Cad Bane was far too good (bad and ugly) to waste like that. Worked for me. Can't say I 'enjoyed' it but I certainly got my money's worth. Terrifying and heart-breaking, like a nightmare. It's a subtle reference to the kind of lifestyles these people lead. And Willows dad, if we're going to include him then yes, all kinds of people sailed the world back then, and it would be entirely plausible to imagine a situation where he would be born into those circumstances. There doesn't need to be a purpose, it's just reproductive nature. Looks good on the big screen, despite its faults. I actually enjoyed most of it. Thought about this and whether or not it was intentional, for me it harks back to the days of sea-faring and piracy on earth where a red-headed Irish or Scotsman finding himself on some far-flung shore fathered a child with an indiginous woman. Happened all the time back then I think, with no birth control. Quite subtle really. View all replies >
