that would be a heartbreaking ending. i could see it happening though I hope it doesn't. I've always had a bad feeling about the hotel room family...
I have been watching it, and I really like it. I looked it up here cause I was hoping to see more conversation about it. I wonder how much of it is historically true. probably not much, but still...
this is the only logical answer. He was using them but never planned on following through.
I do agree that Carol kinda got forgotten in the finale. if they would have included any kind of communication, a nod even, to a close Alexandrian she hadn't seen in forever, it would have been much nicer. I think it all came down to time. Already they had an hour and a half of material to cover, and most of it was too important (to the writers) to let go of to include more of Carol. I'm sure she will have more of a moment maybe in the S8 premiere. They already had almost a whole episode and a half dedicated to her reuniting with Daryl, her finding out about EVERYTHING she missed, and her making the big leap back into bad ass Carol again. I was pleased to see her in Kingdom gear, actually fighting. We haven't seen her fight at all since season 6, when she had to kill the Saviors who roadblocked her running away. I was concerned they were going to write her into a passive part like she was for the attack on the Savior compound.
Everyone is right, it was left by Dwight. But I'm still confused as to why... I didn't think Dwight was supposed to go back to the Savior compound. I thought he was just supposed to block the way (like he did) and go back to Alexandria and help fight. I'm not clear on why he went back. I must have missed something, some reason he had to go back, and then he got sucked back in because Negan was leaving then...
After Morgan told her the truth about Abe and Glenn, and after Benjamin died, she goes back to the Kingdom and approaches Ezeikiel (however you spell it...) in the garden. The dialogue in that scene is what marked (to me) her tipping point. she tells him she's staying and they need to fight. I remember having a clear feeling of 'Carol is back now' after that.
this would be a horrible way to go, but they deserve it. That is exactly what should happen. they burn in their trash.
rumor is that it's Jadis. I hope not. Not that I like her character AT ALL, but I would hate for it turn out that way now that everyone has so much invested into working with them. To lose all the carnival guns, and just the complete betrayal of it,... I am more worried about how I will be feeling about Rick (being trusting enough to approach the junkyard people with a call to arms) if Jadis is the little birdy.
I'm hoping Negan is just talking trash because he figures Rick will eventually retaliate. I don't think that's what will happen.
:0( Yep. Was glad to catch a glimpse of her though. I wonder if they show any more of her.
I've always wondered about this. Especially during Phillip's time with Martha. But this new look for Elizabeth in Kansas,... It just looks more like a wig than anything I've seen on her. it begs to be yanked.
