Gene Hackman could play a child rapist crackhead that strangles puppies and bashes them over old peoples heads and he'd still be likable. He's just a charming and charismatic guy, has nothing to do with the character. The character himself has basically no redeeming qualities.
I think it's extremely creepy. Why did they have to do that exactly? Why could he be the same age or just a little older? It's gross. Not only that but she looks even younger than 18 and he looks 26. She is probably one of the youngest looking Disney girls.
People saying 8 years isn't much are crazy. Maybe for a 30 yr old and a 38 yr old but at 18 those 8 years make a HUGE difference. And who cares if young women dated old men a long time ago? 12 yr olds also got married so should we have a Disney (for kids) movie about that? Not only that but the girl has magic hair and a horse is in charge of the kingdoms guards, this isn't based in real life. Make her older or him younger. Stop excusing this disgusting stuff. There is no excuse for this age gap.
Also I don't care for how extremely thin and clingy her outfit was. Sick. Especially considering she looks like a 13 yr old.
Gonna go with a hard no. I'm not one of the people that think Katherine Heigl with way out of Seth Rogen's league either. I think he's cuter than he gets credit for and she is not as good looking as most people think at least imo. But he was a total loser in the movie, nice guy but still a loser. He had no job, was pretty classless, and just plain irresponsible. While she was super focused on her job and just seems to have a holier-than-thou attitude. So I just don't see it ever working. Maybe if they were somehow forced together in a different way.
The director actually confirmed it was the sister but that he doesn't like killing peoples' imagination.
I agree. She looked pretty bad most of the movie. There were a few parts she was kind of pretty (when they're hanging out at the bar in the beginning) but that's it. Not even her nose either, her face is super asymmetric. And not sure how to describe it but her face sticks out weird, very noticeably from the side.
And honestly I thought Bradley Cooper looked horrible in this movie as well. Like a greasy Picasso painting. I don't get him either.
Wasn't James the first one or at least before Wade? He probably felt more confident after trying everything out with James. He was also left completely alone with Wade much earlier than James and for a whole week. Not only that but Wade was a huge fan of his while James wasn't. I figure it'd be easier to molest a kid that's infatuated with you.
Doesn't explain the nose job and the weird straight hair.
Exactly my point! Terrible situations and being high don't go well together, not even someone knocking on the door goes well lol. I honestly don't know anyone that becomes a better decision maker while high like herbdirg said. It makes me paranoid and stupid af.
That is not how it works for everyone. I almost had a heart attack when someone knocked on my door and I was high, don't think I'd do too great if my sister was dying.
I agree. I was extremely bored by the Witch but found this movie very entertaining and easy to watch. I think sort of the way it was filmed and the atmosphere were somewhat similar.
Hated her. I don't care how much you love your child you don't support them murdering a bunch of people. She was also stupid. Going out during Christmas and screwing things up was idiotic. Was hoping she'd die the whole time.
Jason Lee was the first person to pop into my mind when I saw the real Pablo as well. Really the actor looked nothing like him but you can't exactly have a white guy playing him.
Debra is worse. Though I agree that they would be better spouses if they were with someone else. Raymond is lazy but he actually goes to work. She, at least when the kids are at school, doesn't do much as far as I'm concerned. She could do a few errands, I guess, but I don't think that compares to going to work. You can say she cleans but the mom always buts in and cleans up so I'm not sure how much work that actually is. I agree he should help out with the kids and around the house but I think it should also be acknowledged that he works most of the day and is probably worn out by the time he gets home which is around the same time the kids also get home. He may complain a lot but he usually ends up doing what she tells him to do. Not only that but she gets physical with him a lot and is extremely verbally abusive. Calls him "idiot", "moron", and more I can't remember right now. I know if there was a show where the man called his wife those things people would be disgusted but when it's a guy being belittled it's for laughs.
Idk. A big part of Danny's character is his innocence, him running around killing people would kind of ruin it. I like him not killing, it would feel weird if he did.
Did not enjoy this. She's pretty but ugh. What a shapeless butt.
Really cute but not the best actor.
Aladdin by far. I never really liked Beauty and the Beast. Thought it was boring.
Sorry but she was a fucking adult. Grow the fuck up and take care of your child. Not only did she let her child be abused and raped she abused as well. And wasn't it hinted at that she raped Precious as well? Fuck forgiving that piece of shit. Her boyfriend did not make her do the horrible things she said and did. Bitch deserved to be unhappy at the end and Precious deserved to be as far away from her as possible.
Maybe the father was abused too so I guess it's not his fault either, is it? Ridiculous. The father and mother are grown and should know better and want better for their kid. Got no sympathy for either of them.
She is not attractive but she looks nothing like a gorilla.
I thought you meant James McAvoy at first. I didn't notice her's but his was nice.
