Too high. Even Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are only a 6.5 This will probably end up in the 6.0 range when all is said and done. Not even close. The Flu virus kills 30000-50000 people each year, and this virus has killed 5,000 people in just a few months. This virus is actually quite tame compared to other pandemics throughout history. The Black Plague killed 200 million during the 13th century, and The Spanish Flu killed 100+ million plus back in 1918. A few thousand dead isn't even a drop in the bucket considering the world's population is 6 billion+. More people die in car wrecks each day around the world than this virus has killed in 3 months. Not to mention millions of deaths each year due to obesity, diabetes, cancer ect....... It's a bit of overreaction from the media that's causing panic I'd say. It's OK to take necessary precautions, but buying 6 months supply of toilet paper is ridiculous. Nope. They already reshot 50% of the film before release anyways. It probably cost Disney tens of millions of dollars on top of the already $250 million dollar budget. Delaying the film would only further add to costs. No way they could recuperate their budget back with these scenarios. It's because they had no roadmap/plan. They were just making everything up as they went. The Knights of Ren weren't even in The Last Jedi if I recall. Not even mentioned/referenced either. It gets worse. Palpatine's son was a clone too apparently. This means Palpatine didn't actually have sex, and Rey is not really his grandaughter. So a non-force user conceived the most powerful force user ever in history. Fits right with Disney's SJW agenda. https://screenrant.com/star-wars-rise-skywalker-rey-father-palpatine-clone/ I think it just has to do with genetics and diet/lifestyle. I know 20 somethings that can pass for 30-40 easily. However, they eat poorly and are heavy smokers/drinkers. Actors and people in general in the 1970s were know to be heavy smokers, which may explain why they look older. There's also other factors such as stress and sleep deprivation that can play a role as well. Reeves doesn't have a very stressful life it seems. He's very rich, and dosen't have a wife/kids to support. He probably just spends all his free time doing what he wants, and not worrying about the simple things in life. This dosen't surprise me. Spielberg is busy making West Side Story, and just won't have time for this. I wonder if this will be getting delayed yet again. Filming is supposed to start in April, but the script isn't even finished yet. Don't see this making the July 2021 deadline at all. LOL two of the writers are trans. What could possibly go wrong? Expect these movies to have a strong female lead going through a gender identity crisis with an 80% Asian/black cast. Star Wars is dead and buried. Disney won't be getting another cent from me ever again. How can anybody possibly be interested in this? Does anybody even care at this point? I disagree with the nominations. The movie wasn't that good, but it wasn't Razzie worthy by any means. I also didn't think Stallone and Pineda were bad in their performances either. Also, why Bruce Willis for Glass? He was fine in that film, despite it being underwhelming. 103 years is a hell of a milestone. He was one of the last actors of his kind still living. RIP. Looks interesting, but it's weird seeing Chris Rock in this kind of film. Also, is this a reboot of the whole series? It looks like it's not connected to the rest of the series judging by the trailer. Is Tobin Bell/Jigsaw in it? If Disney needs to write comics to explain to explain plot holes in the movies, then you know they screwed up big time. This could've just simply been summed up in a quick 10 second conversation. But I guess Disney wants to make money from comics instead of telling a proper story. Expect a comic about Palpatine's survival next lol. The prequels had a far better story arch, and much more interesting characters than the sequels did. The only thing the sequels did better was the acting. Some of the acting in the prequels is downright terrible. Still, I prefer the prequels on whole to the ST. Yes. They knew apparently lol. I think a better question is "how did Luke and Leia know Rey was a Palpatine in the first place"? There's nothing whatsoever in TFA and TLJ showing they knew who Rey was or where she came from. Luke was even startled when he asked Rey where she came from in TLJ. Just more plot holes in the sequel trilogy. Well, they did hire the same writer as Justice League to write the script lol. Chris Terrio is a hack. One of the worst screenwriters working today. He makes Akiva Goldsman look good by comparison. Worst one by far. Way worse than Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. At least those movies had consistency. This had nothing. The entire sequel trilogy is a mess, and had no proper roadmap. Star Wars 1-6, Rogue One, The Mandalorian, and Solo are all part of the Star Wars canon. Star Wars 7-9 are non-canon spinoffs, and don't exist as far as I'm concerned. Good. Rise is my least favorite SW by far. I'd rather endure Jar Jar and Hayden Christensen over this any day. I read some details. I didn't like that they changed Palpatine's master to that goblin creature instead of Darth Plagueis the Wise, but the return to Corusant stuff sounded interesting. I also liked the idea of Luke's ghost haunting Kylo. The final battle with the force ghosts sounded cool too. Much better than just hearing the voices like in the actual film. I know a few people who think the prequels and sequels are better than the originals. They'll say: "The originals are old and boring". "The fighting is better in the new ones." "The effects are better". "I just think it's better". It'll probably sweep the Razzie noms tomorrow lol.
