I agree. Just saw him in Get Out and thought he stood out. He's got "it". That quality that compels you to watch him. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here.
Great, great movie. Ahead of its time. Adroit mix of suspense, comedy, and tragedy. A classic for the garden club scene alone. Not as well-known or appreciated as it should be.
Well I still miss the guy. A true artist that could touch your heart. There aren't too many of them. The first 3 movies I saw him in were Boogie Nights (where he blew that whole big cast off the screen in a tiny part), Happiness (let's see DeNiro or Pacino play that role), and The Talented Mr. Ripley. That's a pretty good career for some actors, and he was just getting started. The best actor of his generation, I think for sure, and he belongs in the discussion for best American male actor of all time.
