They didn't see a dime. The actors said each of them was sent a fruit basket when the film grossed $100M.
However, they asked Mike to re-shoot the ending after it premiered at Sundance and said he was paid more for the re-shoot than he was for the actual prior filming.
I disagree. Curry did a TREMENDOUS job but his costume and make up made him simply look like a man in a Clown suit. He was never scary except for when his fangs would show and Curry changed his expression to being evil.
In the book, it never hinted that IT was trying to be an innocent looking Clown. That's why I think they want for a more demonic look in the movie.
It sounds like you're gonna have trouble accepting it because you're gonna be busy comparing Tim with Bill. I would focus more on the storyline if you give this movie a chance.
Sure the novel was 1000+ pages but 500 of those pages were overly detailed backgrounds on the characters, their pointless past and what flavored candies they liked.
If you take the main parts that are actually relevant to the story, then you can easily present that into both 2 hour films.
Who and when?
Cause the movie isn't even finished yet let alone shown to the public except for a rough cut and clips.
It's not pointless considering the TV series left out so much from the novel and had to tame down the violence. Not to mention they didn't have a budget to do most of the special effects that this story requires.
I'm excited for the "remake" since they're sticking true to the novel and will include all those terrifying chapters we read.
My motto for remakes is if you don't want to see it it, then don't see it; don't rain on everyone else's parade who is genuinely excited about it.
2 films
LOL
Well flaunt it all you want because now the world believes it's Witch Hazel thanks to you! 😉
I agree. I'm just glad I finally know what the liquid is she poured in her ice. For years I just thought it was alcohol but Witch Hazel makes more sense.
He actually went after the dad when he could have just ran upstairs. I consider him going after the mom too since he went to seek her out in her office. Really, the brother and sister were the only ones he killed in self defense (if the sister is even dead, I have a feeling she'll be back for a sequel).
