Thank you for those excellent suggestions. Unfortunately none of those. Wish I could remember the name of the actress. That would go a long long ways. She had long stringy white/blond hair, crooked smile. Always played a shy mousy kinda girl. Played in a number of movies around the same time. Been randomly searching movie sites trying to blindly identify her. I'll know her when I see her. Was big around same time as Bernadette Peters (I think) but for the life of me cannot remember her name.
