I think it all depends on what you wanted from IMDb. I mostly looked at the Cast list and the boards. I rarely checked the goofs/trivia/etc. What I liked most about IMDb were the boards. I found them very handy whenever I was confused about something or was just curious to see what others thought about a show/movie. For a long time I was a lurker, and I finally decided to become active thanks to the Vampire Diaries. So this specific board is also the one that really got me into sharing my thoughts. This and the Supernatural boards are the ones I was most active on, not to mention the Originals/Grimm/Once Upon a Time/Grey's Anatomy just to name a few. The only one I avoided (because of trolls) was the Walking Dead board, for that I went to a specific forum just for that show. At one point I went back to "lurkdom", not really sure why, some shows I wasn't watching anymore and also because I was not in the mood for all the drama and or shipping posts that characterize certain shows. But I still came to the boards often to check up on things I wanted to know more about or to see what others were up to. When I heard they were taking away the boards on IMDb I was really bummed, and then I was just as excited to find this (almost exact) replica, it even has the older posts! :) As for general stuff about the cast or movie, there is Wiki, so I doubt I will be going to IMDb much anymore. Maybe to read the reviews, aside from that, wouldn't miss the site if it was gone altogether at this point.
Anyway, if any of the older users are still here that remember me, Hiiiiii! :)
