Does anyone know if Jim Smith died? He was adding loads of members to his Facebook, but now his profile has vanished. He also hasn't posted on this site for at least a month.

They are just not linking up to my profile.
I used the same e-mail address too, although I suppose this site couldn't know that.
I registered with my original name, and I'm having the same issue at the moment. I'm sure I read somewhere though that you should ensure you use the same name if you want your history to be visible, so I think that feature is still coming.
I have been a member of IMDb for 17 years, and a Top Contributor for 13 of them. The loss of any sense of community, and just making contributions for some faceless corporate types has rather a bitter taste at the moment. So don't really feel like contributing much now, and will have to find a new hobby for my hours online. Maybe start writing or something.
Hopefully a success can be made of this place, and the extra time freed up with allow for making friends through here too. Best wishes.
