I love The Tomorrow People. It was a super dark show (even the theme song was dark), but sadly that's not the show I am after as I have seen the Tomorrow people recently :( Oh yeah, I saw tons of his hammer work. I love hammer. The sets were beautiful, the women were gorgeous, and they had Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in almost every film- what's not to like. Granted they were cheesy as hell, but in a good way. if done right this could be good. I (like you) have often thought about everything that the movie left out too. It would need to be two or three parts though. And I would like for them to use practical effects. CGI just doesn't look real. It looks like a video game (have you seen the star wars Prequels recently? They look more dated then the original films). But to be honest I just don't think this will be good. It will have either have gore for the sake or gore (see evil dead remake) or it will be too cartoony. I never saw that one. I saw wolf with Jack Nicholson and I thought that that one was pretty bad. Shame cause Jack was a badass actor in just about everything that he ever did. The old horror films were so much better than the modern remakes (I did dig a lot of the Hammer remakes though-those were fun). I wish that hollywood would stop already, but I know that they won't. I agree. The original has become a classic. I don't think that I have ever met any adult who has never seen it. Hollywood is just bankrupt creatively. It's what i stopped watching new movies and tv series around ten years ago- nothing new. which remake are you talking about? An American Werewolf in london? It was on last year. And technically WNEW still exist, but it has some kind of regional agreement to air Fox broadcasting in the tristate area. I think WOR still exists too, but I will have to check on that. Still, all of these stations are a pale almost nonexistent shadow of what they once were- especially around the holidays. Sad that they've changed it to a Thanksgiving movie, sort of ruins it for me. Thanksgiving was the parade, then movies in the afternoon until they were userped by football. Born in '56, I don't remember WABD, but the early days of WNEW are still fresh in my mind, unlike where I left my car keys.
