The movie 'Major' starring Adivi Shesh in the title role was a huge success at the box office. The film is directed by Shashikiran Tikka and is based on the life of Veera Jawan Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who single-handedly saved the lives of many civilians during the November 26, 2008 terror attack in Mumbai. The filmmakers decided to bring the film closer to more children and inspire them. The decision was made to screen the film at a 50 per cent ticket price for school and college children.
