Too much boring talk about nothing. Even 10 episodes is too much.

They dont have enough material for 10 episodes. Maximum 5.

In every episode there is like 10 minutes of anything interesting actually happening and mystery. And then 40 minutes of nonsense where uninteresting characters talk about their feelings. I fastforward every boring talk and its practically nothing to see. I could have watched whole 10 episodes in one hour with factsforwarding. By only stopping at interesting parts.

In episode 7 they spent so much time on bunch of 17-20 years old stupid teenagers talking to to each other at the party that I factforwarded and missed nothing important.

I'm with you. A lot of boring characters making stupid decisions. I was pretty into it early but once the new guy started roaming around town acting like everything was fake I started to lose faith. Then the teenage girl suddenly deciding she hates her parents and choosing to live with a bunch of strangers. I've also had enough of the 20 year old girl and her infinite wisdom, and now apparently she's against conventional relationships just to make her a little more annoying.

Any show with a premise like this is automatically going to suck me in but the evil creatures kinda ruin it for me. It's more like bad horror than a compelling mystery. Not to mention it looks like you could probably just jog away from them. At the beginning, why even let your child have access to windows when the only thing you have to do is not let these creatures in your house? We're supposed to blame the drunken dad but the mom wasn't much better.

It features some of the most horrendous scripts and TV writing in the last 10 years. The atrocious acting does not help either.

Ever considered it's about character built up? It's about getting to know the people instead of just seeing cardboard types getting destroyed as in some random slasher b movie. Maybe "Terrifier" is your bag. What would be the point in incessant slayings?

That’s the problem with many cheating shows. Nobody wants to see boring "character built up" for 10 episodes. People are tricked into watching shows when they edit trailers like it may be something interesting and mysterious. Then people watch it and it’s 10 episodes of boring talk about feelings where boring people feel sorry for themselves. No one cares to see that. That’s why those shows have no viewers and get cancelled.

Some shows dont lie and show in the trailer how boring it will be and people don’t even start watching.

Here characters were "build up" so "good" that I don’t even remember a single character apart main black guy who I only remember because actor is from Lost and Romeo+Juliet. I don’t remember plot, I don’t remember characters and how it ended. And I watched whole season.

But I do remember and it wasn't boring. And it's Epix's second most watched series. What do you want? Constant carnage?
