Your move.
Exact same message. Except one is a 4 min excerpt from a Nic Cage film offering real poetic insight into the existential vacuum of many a poor soul, and the other is a 1h47 bloated satire that's not sure what it wants to be, is poorly written and directed, and is a waste of a perfectly fine veteran actor.
But you're free to spend your time however you see fit, friend.
That's absolutely fine by me.
If you enjoyed 'The Menu', I recommend you take a look at 'Pig' (Michael Sarnoski, 2021). Both films explore the same themes, but the latter is much more astute in its observations of modern alienation and much better directed.
Damn I could have used this 4 days ago lol.. I sat through this movie and was initially drawn in and wanted to know what was going to happen . Then it started to get strange and then downright silly . I was not entertained
