but I could be wrong, but why do the ones who got to a metal shelter and survived the magnetic force think it won’t happen again. They all emerge from their shelters and start wandering the streets, like it was the aftermath of a hurricane not an alien lethal force. The blind girl even hears some vibrations but her Mom thinks it is all in her imagination AFTER THE WAVE OCCURRED.

I agree with you on that. Just like how the terrorists will bomb a place, and then wait for all the Emergency Service to come to the sites, and then hit is again with another bomb, these aliens would do that. I also did not find the metal dogs that convincing of a monster. They did not have hands, and I thought it was kind of funny that they had those pneumatic hoses that drove their legs out and in the open.
A lot of the things in the plot seemed worse than stupid, but as I watched this, maybe due to the fact that there are limited things to watch these days in quarantine for COVID-19, I thought it was pretty good.
