France and UK both have a War of the Worlds on TV in 2019

The BBC mini series is 3 episodes, this French one is 8.

Does it have english subs or what? Imdb says it's english but trivia says it's mostly french.

None of the English subs i came across translates French dialogue. Which kinda defeats the purpose of a subtitle, by the way.

I'm watching it on Epix and the captions are in English when speaking in English. Most of the dialogue is English but there is some French which is translated on the film itself (not the captions).
