Shocked that a director like Sofia Capolla and A24 made something as bad as this. This felt like an episode of How I Met Your Mother guest starring Bill Murray. Really bad cheesy writing and just flat out boring. Not surprised this went straight to Apple TV.
shareI found it easy enough to sit through. Rashida Jones was very good. Murray was fine but the role was so squarely in his comfort zone that I am surprised he is getting awards notices for it. It all felt very inconsequential and never more than mildly amusing but at least it was fairly brief and never boring. 5/10.
