Nicholas Hoult out, Esai Morales in

It's been confirmed today that Nicholas Hoult has dropped out of the new film, due to scheduling conflicts and Esai Morales will play the antagonist instead. Not a bad choice, I couldn't see Hoult fighting against Cruise, but rather alongside him, a shame that he didn't get a chance to be in the new films, but Morales is exciting news.

Cool.

Though Hoult is an actor I quite like (and I certainly wanted to see him in this franchise), having him as the film’s villain is something I wasn’t entirely sure about. Now the idea of a much younger villain played by none other than Hoult sounded VERY cool to me, but at the same time I also think Hoult would’ve been great as a team member of Ethan, especially with Jeremy Renner’s character no longer being around.

But Esai Morales? Yeah, he’s a fantastic choice! I’m totally looking forward to seeing him go against Cruise.
