Bad Travelling Is On A Whole Other Level....

This is one of those that stuck with me, but not like Beyond The Aquila Rift or the Pop Squad. Those were good, the former more-so for the extra-dimensional horror twist at the end -- a fate worse than death -- and the latter because it was so well executed.

However, Bad Travelling just on a whole other level.

I think what works so well is that it's very layered and with a lot of complex character detail in such a short running time. David Fincher really poured his heart into this one and did it really well.

I was never sure what to think about Torrin until the very end, and while I originally had thought I understood what his game was, it was never fully figured out until the final sacrifice was made. And then it was an "Oh, shhhhhh......" kind of moment when you discovered what the crew was really up to.

That was some fan-darn-tastic storytelling. It's these particular stories that make me wish we had full-length feature films like this. I can't remember the last horror movie I've seen made of this quality, of this caliber, and with this kind of multi-faceted character dimensions.

It's a masterpiece of compact storytelling.

I agree that Bad Traveling is outstanding and the best entry in this franchise since Beyond The Aquila Rift. For all of the stories in LDR that I have enjoyed, this is the only one that I have gone out of my way to show to people.

10/10
