She comes from a planet of only women. Her parents are two mothers (not sure how conception works there).
It would be more interesting if she was boy crazy, as boys would be a completely foreign and exotic thing to her.
Her being an LGBTQ kid with pin for all to know was boring.
Anything that shows some originality, would be wonderful.
I mean, there's far more heterosexual characters in history than homosexual on film. That being said, while her parents are both women, I don't remember her ever stating her preference or showing any attraction towards anyone in the film.

And honestly, that sounds very annoying. I'm definitely glad that was not in the movie.
