Apparently this movie has a lot of jump scares

Hopefully they will be good and not cheap ones.

What MCU movie doesn't have jumpscares? Every MCU movie has at least one jumpscare. Even if it's something you don't consider a jumpscare. The first Doctor Strange had a couple jumpscares. Like Strange suddenly waking up when Rachel McAdams is trying to revive him or someone suddenly getting attacked. Eternals was loaded with jumpscares as well. The Doctor Strange What If...? episode had a lot of jumpscares as well. Even the two Guardians Of The Galaxy movies had jumpscares and those are the most humorous/light MCU movies.

I was expecting this movie to have all kinds of jumpscares though, especially since they said the movie is supposed to be more horror. And the current Hollywood definition of horror for the last 10-15, almost 20 years is jumpscares. Plus this is a Sam Raimi movie. When he does horror movies, expect Jumpscare City. Evil Dead 1 and 2 are filled with jumpscares. There is one pretty much every 2-4 minutes. I hate jumpscares though. Fricking annoying. I'll still see the movie though, but I'm not looking forward to Jumpscare City. Hate that an article confirmed what I feared about the movie. I was hoping when they said that the movie would be more horror, it would be imagery and atmosphere and all that and not rely heavily on jumpscares. But looks like they went the cheap way for horror aka jumpscares.
