someone has to point this out. the obvious, moronic "white people are stupid" role:
stupid white stewardess on plane: "you want fish or chicken? Oh, we are out of fish, oh we are out of chicken" or something, said with a placating, plastic "I'm a moron" smile. yes... we's dumb as a box of chocolates.
* I'm white/peach/light/pale/honkey/cracker/caucasian so I can say whitey. that's OUR word. :D
I think it was more of a joke about how bad service is on a flight and not a commentary on the intelligence of all white people. If that scene offended you, then you really have problems. I am a whitey too and I was not offended.
Was that stewardess even white? I mean, I remember the scene but the actress seemed like she could've been Latina or something just as easily as white.
Also, are you just going to conveniently ignore the black dude on the bus with his phone who was actually shown to be dumb (as opposed to just annoying like the stewardess)? Or Ben Kingsley’s character (Kingsley is Indian and Jewish)? Seems you have an agenda.
my "AGENDA" is how stupid all of this is. just make GOOD movies, don't worry about woke colors, sex, "diversity inclusion" etc. You really think 12 % of the population should be represented fifty percent in all media now and all couples shoul dbe mixed race to "represent reality" when it really doesn't? In what ledger does that all balance out? :)
Jordan Peele can make a film for black people (self admitted and I love him for that, and am fine with it), but you will NEVER hear a white dude say "I make films for white people and I don't care".
But if you DIDN'T notice specific white stupid portral, you're kinda dumb. If they'd made the steward mexican, or hispanic, or black, or gay or [insert this minutes fad here] they would have been slammed for picking on that race/sex whatever because everyone has WOKEn to offending people. But it's OKAY with a white moron.
Enjoy your self hypocratic world. I can't WAIT to see how it works out for you. I'll be there with my popcorn, on the side lines. Smiling and laughing at the entertainment of the melt down. :)
What a clown. Literally no one in the thread agrees with you so you go off on a tangent about completely different movies to try to support your paranoid argument

Considering this movie had a dumb black guy on the bus that had more screentime than this stewardess (and was featured prominently in the trailers) with no one saying anything, you're pretty much dead wrong. Oh, and once again, this movie had Ben Kingsley, a non-white dude, playing an idiot and the comic relief.
sooooo... white is not white, even when they are white, but they have some mixed background? yet they are completely white? have you seen any photos of Ben K? This brave new world is so fun! :) [my popcorn is ready]
For anyone who hasn't watched this movie....the flight attendant scene was just like the Meet The Parents scene with Ben Stiller. It's just making fun of airport crew following their canned, flowchart responses.
I'm not even sure if the flight attendant was white; I barely remember how she looked like.
"Insane" ? You are literally the reason the internet sucks shit: armchair psychiatrists and other self appointed experts dropping bullshit diagnosis based on, well, nothing even partially relevant. Pray tell, what are your conditions leading you to the read of "Insane"? Could you please reference the appropriate chapters of characteristics from the DSM-5. Thank you.
