Live action Miles Morales movie in the works, plus a Spider-Woman movie.

Producer Amy Pascal says a Spider-Woman and live-action Miles Morales movie are in the works. “You’ll see all of it,” she told me Tuesday at the “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” premiere in Los Angeles. “It’s all happening.”

Producer Avi Arad teased that moviegoers will see a “Spider-Woman” movie “sooner than you expect.”

Too bad Spider-Woman can't have her origin from the comics where her father works for Hydra and how she then was brainwashed by Hydra and worked with them for years til Nick Fury infiltrated the Hydra base she was at and helped her see Hydra had been lying to her. All for no reason other than stupid rights issues that make no sense!

Not sure how well a Spider-Woman movie will be received though. It feels like it'll be more about female empowerment and denigration of men. That or it'll have some compelling story to tell even though most origin comics story all seem more or less the same if not similar.
