I mean I had high hopes, but this sucked. I've never said something should have more scares, but this should've. Where was T. Todd? I didn't even finish watching the movie, I mean, if the villain on their side, and we know only White people are getting Offed, how do you make a sequel horror movie from that? Then it will just be thriller, or suspense?
The Candman here was just some hobo that wasn't scary.

Candyman was the backdrop of this movie. It's sole intention was to race bait while using a popular, black slasher villain as a marketing ploy.

I was hyped to watch this since I liked the original one back in the day. I had to force myself to watch until the end. I'm easily scared and still I agree with you. Movie wasn't scary and I found myself watching how much time was left several times.
