Shades of Resident Evil Biohazard

Anyone else think of the Baker family when they saw the Weboy clan? The family dining scene, chopping off the hand, upgrading from the pistol to a shotgun with the damaged hand and the abused woman being held hostage all reminded me of the game.

Lesley Manville's Blanche Weboy could easily be the perfect Marguerite Baker if they ever made RE VII into a movie, IMO.

Other than that, good movie. As much as I enjoy watching CGI fests like Avengers and Godzilla, it's also nice to watch a movie that uses none of it and relies solely on a good cast, characters, acting, story and cinematography to keep us engaged. This was easily one of the best movies of 2020 - 7.5 / 10
