Watching it for the first time and it's very bad. None of the characters act like they're from 1899.

I'd say there's almost no chance this gets picked up. It's obviously a big budget show and the response was pretty disappointing. They have to cancel it now because if they allow a second season they are pretty much committing to a third to wrap things up.
I appreciate they are on different services. It was more a comment on the unfairness of the outcome, given the superior quality of this show over Outer Range, which ironically - given it's continuation - was nothing more than a Dark rip off.

Well its god then that I didnt start watching, I watched first episode and it was weird and so boring that I kinda decided to return to it later but never did. I guess I did the right thing.
Seriously, what the reason to start watching new show if they will be cancelled after 1 season? That why many people dont even start new shows anymore.
