What Did Ling Yi Give Her Mother?

Or was it an older sister? Well I forget but anyway what was it exactly she gave her that killed her? Am I to understand it was poison of some sort or a sleeping drug? In her first memory it seemed that it was a sleeping narcotic & in the 2nd memory it seemed that it might’v e been some kind of poison as her mother/sister was bent over in pain due to it’s effects. Why would a sleeping drug do that? But again I’m not sure.

It depends, I can’t blame her for murder if it was just a sleep drug & for some reason she either gave too much & it had a deadly effect or was allergic, etc. That’s rare that, that happens & it was a mistake not a calculated killing. She’s dead to rights if it was a poison of some sort because how can you explain that? That it’s poison yeah but it was made to put you to sleep? So I’m not sure on this aspect of the show.
