Annoying as Hell

You can't see half this show because it is filmed so darkly. Even daytime shots are partly dark - like people being basically shadows because they are in an unlit part of a room.
I know the filmmakers think they are being clever, using their lighting to reflect the "dark" times depicted in the show, but it's just annoying.

But if I wanted to listen to radio, I'd turn on the radio. If they are going to make a moving "picture", they should actually let us see it.

It would be one thing if this was a classic mini-series. Instead, it's a mediocre, inert, bloviating fest (and some of the speechifying is cringeworthy), barely worth the trouble of the bad cinematography.

Agree, the darkness is way overdone.
